Open Folk CIC is a Community Interest Company incorporated on 24th December 2025 under the Companies Act 2006. We are a private company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16930479), and based in Wirral.
We were founded with a clear purpose to harness the power of the arts, performing arts, physical activity, and cultural exchange to educate, inspire, and unite people particularly those from diverse and under-represented backgrounds.
As a CIC, every penny of surplus we generate is reinvested directly into our community programmes. We are not established for private gain we exist entirely to benefit the communities we serve.
